Export 2025: International Art Exhibition

In March 2019, artist/curators Emilie Houssart and Xuewu Zheng, brought together over eighty artists for Export 2019: A Joint Exhibition of International Artists, held in Poughkeepsie’s Trolley Barn. The opening reception was well attended, introducing both the Trolley Barn Gallery as well as artists with connections to the City of Poughkeepsie to the greater Hudson Valley audience. At the time, the exhibition seemed to be igniting an exciting period for Poughkeepsie’s art scene. Unfortunately, only a year later the world was closing down because of the COVID 19 pandemic. Export 2025, is curated by Xuewu Zheng, with a support team of co-organizers, Emilie Houssart, Hayoon Jay Lee, Nestor Madalengoita and Anita Fina Kiewra. The show features over 70 artists. The opening reception is Sunday, April 6 from 4-7 PM with an opening performance at 5 PM by Hayoon Jay Lee. The exhibition will be on view at Poughkeepsie’s Trolley Barn at 489 Main Street through April 17, 2025.
