LOOKING: 21 WAYS

Celebrating Contemporary Art Through The Eyes Of 21 Women Artists

Opening Reception: Saturday, September 13th, 3 PM - 6 PM

On view September 13 - November 1 at tyte Gallery, Millbrook, NY

This September, tyte Gallery is pleased to welcome Looking: 21 Ways –  a vibrant new art exhibition featuring the diverse work of 21 different women artists. Looking: 21 Ways invites visitors to view a range of intergenerational perspectives that illuminate the artists’ vision and creative process—their ways of looking at, interpreting, and responding to the world around them. Spanning styles from abstract expressionism to figurative realism, the show fosters dialogue across mediums and experiences.

Looking is both a celebration of artistic inquiry and an invitation to pause—to reflect on the stories we carry, the landscapes we traverse, and the ways we seek meaning through the act of making. Curated by Rudy Vavra, artistic director, the exhibit showcases the work of Sharon Bates, Monica Church, Kirby Crone, Maxine Davidowitz, Priscilla Derven, Daniella Dooling, Debora Faccion Grodzki, Lindsey B. Guile, Gretchen Kane, Zoya Lulu Kirmani, Nansi Lent, Carol Levine, Adrianne Lobel, Mya Muchineuta, Nancy O’Hara, Lynn Palumbo, Judy Pfaff, Kristen E. Rego, Amanda Russo Rubman, Hana Yoshikawa, and Mimi Young.
